‘Burnaby Realtor’ that likes golf.

This past weekend at the RE/MAX Awards conference in Victoria, my name was selected as the winner of golf passes to the wicked new golf course at Tobiano in Kamploops B.C., thanks to Dick Pemberton of RE/MAX in Kamploops.   Earlier this past summer, my boys from guys on golf payed a visit to Tobiano, so I’m really looking forward to finally having a chance to play there.  As if this didn’t make me happy enough, my partner Heiner then gave me the passes he won to ‘The Golf Club at The Rise” in Vernon B.C. A course designed by Freddie Couples (one of my golf heroes).  Sounds like a great weekend of golf to me.

RE/MAX Awards Conference in Victoria Follow up and Pics.

A good time was had by all at this weekend’s annual RE/MAX of Western Canada Awards Conference held this year at the Empress hotel in Victoria, B.C.  Most of the photos have been uploaded to flickr, so you can click here to check them out and comment.  See you all next year !!

RE/MAX Western Canada Awards Conference February 5th-7th.

This weekend, RE/MAX of Western Canada will host it’s annual awards conference at the Empress hotel in Victoria, BC.  My team and I plan to attend the conference that carries the theme “lovin’ every minute of  it.”   RE/MAX has 232 offices in Western Canada, extending as far as Saskatchewan.  Of the 5,800 sales representatives (approx.), about 1,000 are expected to attend.   The weekend will be filled with motivation, networking and of course lots of fun.  Loverboy (a local band here in Vancouver) are expected to perform.  Each year at the conference is also another way for RE/MAX to continue it’s fantastic contributions to the Children’s Miracle Network.  To date, RE/MAX associates have raised over 85 million dollars for the cause.   Last year, three time Canadian Olympic medalist Catriona Le May Doan was on hand to do a presentation, and I was lucky enough to meet her.  pic above.   My team and I are all looking forward to a great weekend, which is sure to get us really moving in 2009.  A positive spin on Real Estate will be a nice change;)
