Posted in Forest Grove on November 20, 2008 by wesleybehanA huge private backyard fenced & treed with a beautiful mountain view, is only one of the deluxe bonuses of this immaculately kept unit. The layout features a king sized master bedroom with private bath, & a 2nd bedroom plus bathroom separated by the spacious & bright living space. This type of unit comes up very seldom! All in the heart of Port Moody’s most desirable neighbourhoods. Incredible facilities, including indoor hardwood floor basketball court, plus 2 parking spots & a gigantic locker add the icing to the top of this perfect home! The Klahanie project in Port Moody has been a favourite of mine since joining the business in 2004. Not only because my grandparents lived on Klahanie Dr. in the town where I grew up, but because it has some of the best amenities of any complex I’ve seeen. It was a pleasure to show and sell this unit to one of my best friends in the world. Congratulations bud.

Another Condo Project Put on Hold.
Posted in Forest Grove on November 17, 2008 by wesleybehanWe can add another condo development in Vancouver to the list of projects that have had construction halted. The “Jameson House” sales center in downtown Vancouver was closed yesterday, and all construction was brought to a close. The $180 million dollar project, had already sold 105 of it’s 144 units, but the financial institution in charge of financing, has decided to pull funding on the high-end project. Located on the corner of West Hastings and Hornby, the $180M project had units selling from $500K to $5M, with an average of about $3M per suite. The suites were to have all radiant floor heating and granite countertops in the kitchen that could be hydraulically raised and lowered. The parking garage was expected to have a conveyer belt to “whisk” residents cars away for them. The developer is now looking for a new investor, or a buyer to take over the project in it’s entirety.
Changes at WesleyBehan.com
Posted in Fun Stuff, News on November 11, 2008 by wesleybehanCaptain’s Log, Star date Remembrance Day, November 11th, 2008.
A quick head’s up that wesleybehan.com has been switched over and synchronized with my blog, so that all the action will be in one place. It will be the place to go to contact me with your questions you have about real estate, or should you know someone that is interested in buying or selling a home. It has some cool new features, such as direct links to my Real Estate Team Website, facebook and youtube. My blog will be dedicated to Real Estate mostly, but also to current events and fun point of views. It’s still “under construction” (no real estate pun intended)**, so bear with me. Check it out by clicking here.
In the lower mainland, the Real Estate market is continuing it’s “correction”. Many new Realtors are having trouble getting established in a more stabalized market. With fewer sales, and many more new realtors, the competition is tightening, forcing many Realtor’s to switch offices or leave the business completely. November usually proves to be a strong month. With the weather cooling, people are more likely to spend their free time on the weekends previewing houses and condos, rather than out enjoying the sunshine. Maybe it’s just because I was born in November, but I love the early Christmas spirit and the hope of a lot of snow for another wicked snowboard season.
On that note, let us be thankful today, remembrance day, and every day for the people that have fought and continue to fight for us to enjoy the lives, the freedom and the snowboarding we do;)
Until next time…
