This past weekend, I had the opportunity to go to Kelowna with my good friend Jeff Leyland (The Team 1040 sports talk radio), and 3 of his friends that I can now call my own. I got most of my work out of the way early so most of the weekend was spent in the sun golfing and wakeboarding. We also got the chance to catch a comedy show featuring one of Vancouver’s funniest comedians Richard Lett. You can check out more photos of our trip on Richards blog. The trip was so much fun and I’m already looking forward to next year. Thanks Jeff.

Just Sold in Brentwood Park !
Posted in Just Sold on July 26, 2006 by wesleybehan
Gerard and Corey Martin of Powell River have decided to purchase a condo in Burnaby, as their son Torry will be moving down to attend college in the fall. The unit they decided to go with, is a sub-penthouse on the 17th floor of a great building in Burnaby’s popular Brentwood Park. The views from this unit, of the Metrotown skyline and Burnaby Mountain, are simply fabulous. It was an enjoyable experience working with Gerard and Corey, and I am glad that I could finally start to pay them back for all those swimming lessons when I was growing up:) I want to take this opportunity to wish Torry luck, and all the best in his studies.

When I first moved to this huge fabulous city that I would soon grow to love, I stayed in the city of Port Moody. The city was very good to me and I wanted my parents to enjoy some of it’s beauty and ammenities. They recently stayed at the Bed and Breakfast that I got them and they couldn’t have picked a nicer day. It was exactly as I pictured; right on the ocean with a gorgeous view.

Recently, I had the opportunity to represent RE/MAX as the “team captain” for the Lions Club annual 24 hour relay. With a little help from my brother and a few others, we were able to organize a fabulous event. The 24 hour relay helps raise money so that easter seal children are able to go to camp. This years event raised over 1.2 million dollars in Vancouver alone, and will help send over 1000 children to camp this summer. I am looking forward to helping out again next year, and I want to thank everyone that donated money and participated in the event.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my clients Michael and Cecilia. They decided to sell their townhome in Fraserview and then decided to purchase this immaculate home on the South Slope in Burnaby. This home is 82 years old, but you would never know by looking at it. It is beautfully kept inside and out and the yard and surrounding lot are second to none. It was truly a pleasure to work with Michael and Cecilia, and I want to thank them for the opportunity and wish them all the best in the future.
